An Evening With Tommy Ambrose

 
MPC Music presents "An Evening of Music with Tommy Ambrose". One of Canada's most renowned jazz vocalists makes a rare club appearance backed by the finest Toronto Jazz musicians including Norman Amadio on Piano, Rick White on Tenor Sax, John MacLeod on flugelhorn, Rosemary Galloway on base and Don Vickery on drums. Singer, composer and one of Canada's first solo acts, Tommy Ambrose took the stage at the tender ager of 5 and never looked back. At 18 Tommy moved into popular music and made his television debut in 1957 on CBC TV and subsequently moved on to host numerous CBC shows including "While We Were Young", "The Tommy Ambrose Show" and "Celebration".
