Caribbean Carnival Haiti Fundraiser

Help Raise Funds for the people of Haiti

The survivors of the earthquake are suffering not only psychological pain but also from physical injuries and doctors are in desperate need of medical supplies. Every $1 given will be leveraged into $30 worth of medicine and medical equipment.

Haiti's Carnival or “Kanaval” is an important event in the national cultural calendar, preceding the holy Easter season when Christians rededicate themselves to prayer for forgiveness and rebirth during the period of Lent.

Haiti Carnival is a large celebration as revelers release their inhibitions and celebrate their culture in grand style. In fact, food, drink and music dominate the festivities and, as such, our event will attempt to bring this same Caribbean feeling to residents of Toronto .

Entertainment will featurue internationally acclaimed performers, musicians and artists, as well as surprise celebrities.

Silent Auction: Art, vacations and other exciting goodies will be on offer.
Vendors and Exhibitors will help us learn, appreciate and celebrate Haitian and Caribbean culture. There will also be collateral material about Haitian culture, tradition, art and music, and a number of door prizes for our guests.

At a time like this there is no separation between men… it’s a matter of which man is standing and how he will reach out.

The only POWER we have against time is NOW… The STRENGTH we have against pain consists of HUMILITY and COMPASSION.
